AccuShaper® 2.0
The AccuShaper® 2.0 is a robot end effector for laser hole cutting and trimming operations. It trepans at up to four times the speed and three times the accuracy of conventional robot/head combinations, greatly reducing cycle time.
Unlike conventional robot/head combinations, the AccuShaper® 2.0 trepans while imparting minimal reactive forces to the robot, producing higher accuracy features. Its novel Inertia-Cancelling motion system handles cut features up to 30 mm × 30 mm. For larger features and trim cuts, it trepans using the robot’s full motion envelope.
The AccuShaper® 2.0 delivers a cutting solution comparable to five-axis machines at a fraction of the cost and with higher levels of automation.
